Learning's Path
This unit should be learnt by following the following steps in order.
- Explaining the concept of extensive reading to students, emphasizing its benefits and goals;
- Discussing the importance of choice in selecting reading materials based on their interests and proficiency levels;
- Introducing the students to the available reading resources, including the reading book in the library, digital libraries, and online sources;
- Instructing the students to maintain reading journals or logs where they record details about the texts they've read, including summaries, new vocabulary, and personal reflections;
- Reading and practicing;
- Answering the exercises;
- Doing the tasks given in the Learning Management System.
