Day 7 (Tuesday, July 13, 2021): The Role of Herbal Medicine in Tackling Current Health Problems
Dear OSC 2021ers!
The learning outcomes of the Day 7 is that students are able to work collaboratively to identify problem related to certain issue in adapting herbal medicine/cosmetics for the community 5.0
The method of delivery will be divided into panel discussion, group discussion and an asynchronous activity.
Asynchronous activity consist of group discussion and presentation preparation in eLOK.
Asynchronous activity (Final Project)
For your final project, you and your group have to propose a project with these following criteria:
Theme: Adopt and Adapt Traditional Medicine into Society 5.0
Find an existing real life problem related to the theme
Propose an idea of solution to the problem (This might be a start up, website, community-based action, application etc.)
Form: video presentation of the idea (3-5 min in duration), video can be animation, ppt presentation, vlog etc. In addition to the idea/main content, the video has to contain a title, references, role of each group member.

Steps for project building (3 days)
- Day 1: Building idea by a group chat in a Forum provided in eLOK (the syncronous avtivity Day 7)
- Day 2: Finalizing project concept. Please create a google doc file on your own and use this to collaboratively work with your group members on the concept. Then, please upload the link for this google doc in the same discussion forum you use on Day 7
- Day 3: Finalizing the project and upload it to the submission form under the asyncronous activity on Day 9
Vote for the best video by reviewing 3 videos from different group using the peer assessment rubrics provided in eLOK (Day 9).
